Brussel, April 3 and 4, 2024
On the 3rd and 4th of April of 2024, the board members of the Council had the opportunity to visit the EU Parliament and the headquarters of COMECE in Brussel.
“The experience was wonderful and we all felt very grateful and excited to see the council take its first official steps in the political world. Having the chance to introduce ourselves to Roberta Metsola, to talk about different initiatives and projects with youth leaders of the EU, of Balcanic youth, and also of the church initiatives promoted by COMECE was truly an honour.”
“I felt that God chose us to be there, to spread the hope of a more united Mediterranean, to share our vision with more experienced people and to also get their opinion on different matters. This visit made me very aware of the great project(s) that God is putting in our hearts, and how it can only be possible if He is in the middle of it all, the root of everything and what unites us all. I felt very little and humbled by going there, but I was also filled with hope and joy, and my passion for building peace, for sharing brotherhood and for working with the youth was present in this trip like growing fire. It was overall a very rich and wonderful experience and we look forward to working closely with the EU, COMECE and other organisations in the future.”
