The Mediterranean Youth Council is the natural space where young people from various countries and religious traditions, continuing the spirit of the Bishops’ meetings in Bari and Florence, come together to get to know one another, share experiences, ideas, and develop a common project.
The Council has adopted internal regulations outlining its operational areas, activities, and duties, ensuring full representation of every geographical area of the Mediterranean region.
To add, this project reflects the organic relationship between the ecclesial communities that have appointed them, as they jointly design and carry out initiatives with the people and communities of the Mare Nostrum.
It is a shared journey of growth rooted in solid foundations, which over time unfolds through proposals, initiatives, and events aimed at both ecumenical and interreligious dialogue — the “common mission of the three Abrahamic religions” (Giorgio La Pira).
