The Mediterranean Youth Council (MYC)’s civic engagement team is launching a monthly Prayer for Peace initiative to unite the region.

Held in a different country each month, this event aims to transform the Mediterranean into a “sea of peace.” The prayer, inspired by Pope Leo XIII’s call for peace, is not only a moment for spiritual communion but also a call to action.

It’s an opportunity for every member of the council to come together, support one another through hardships, and take a tangible step toward unity and impactful change. This initiative is seen for the team as the crucial first step toward creating a more united and peaceful community.
